I have not been taking pictures very long, so when my sister in law, Leah, asked me to photograph her and Andy’s wedding, I was so excited but also very nervous. I had asked a friend (who had said they were good at photography) to do my wedding pictures and they turned out horribly, I did not want that to happen to Leah and Andy. Luckily I had the opportunity to do prom pictures a couple weeks before to get some good practice. This definitely helped boost my confidence with their wedding day.
This wedding was so fun, definitely not your traditional wedding. It was so laid back and just peaceful, nobody was stressing out. The bride wore a vintage 50’s style, black and white polka dotted dress, which totally fit her personality, and the groom wore black jeans with a white embroidered button down shirt, complete with a bolo tie. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s mother and the groom’s best man was his son. Family was such a big part of this day.

So happy for them!

The whole gang!
This next shot was the groom’s idea. He wanted the illusion that he was speeding away while Leah was stepping on the can tied to the motorcycle to keep him from leaving. I think it turned out so good. It’s one of my favorite shots.
Then of course we had to get some shots of them riding away on the motorcycle.
I hope you guys enjoy these pictures as much as I did!
